"The Kitty Chronical"

Este es mi último trabajo...
This is my last work...
No, no me he metido a periodista jajaja...
No, I did not become a journalist lol ...
This is the bag I have just finished, another of those wonders that teach the girls of "Pretty Quilt."

Por detrás...
Behind...
... y por delante.
... and ahead.
Inside pockets for my needs: notebook, pen and pencil...
And outside pocket to have another phone handy.
I am thrilled with the result especially because when you go by bus, metro, etc... I will go very entertained reading "The Kitty Chronical" hahaha...

And here I leave you with some pictures of the family that lives in the tree of my garden... example that life goes on.

After a week of relax, we return to the daily routine.

To heat engines I want to show some interesting things I found in my journey ...

... like this workshop in which they paint, one by one and by hand, beautiful sarongs to wear at the beach ...
Right there I met a group of girls working a beautiful embroidered applications and...
And even there, I bought a couple of things ... It was a sin to come with empty hands =)
A scarf (knitted and painted by hand) that my neck will sure appreciate in the cold winters in Spain ...
... and a beautiful thai skirt (hand woven) that will look good in my living room (too nice to bring it to the street) ...

Here I show a dye shop as traditional fabrics!

These stamps are dipped in hot wax printing the pictures one by one ...
... then introduced the fabric in these jars to three times to get the desired tone ...
... y este es el resultado final... ¿Qué os parece? Precioso, ¿verdad?
Por supuesto, está puesto en mi mesa... Tenía que comprarlo =)
... and this is the final result ... What do you think? Beautiful, Isn't it?
Of course, it is on my table ... I had to buy it =)
And this sarong also wanted to come with me, hahaha ... and the elephant was given to Sofia by the nice lady who made the show.

The samples were also given from her: for William ...
... para Andrés...
... for Andy ...
... and Sofia, Mother elephant with baby elephant ...
And could not miss, some fabrics (also hand-woven) purchased in a market town... I still do not know what to do with them or when, but over the time I'll think of something, I'm sure...
But in the end, the most important and best of this trip...
... LOS AMIGOS!!!
... FRIENDS!

The 1st of April was Mae's birthday, the daughter of Khun Lin. She is 14 years and is quite a lady.
This card was for her ...Happy Birthday!

Y ahora...

And now ...WE GO ON VACATION!

We have not had Easter holidays but ... when you, in Spain, you turn ... us in Thailand we will!

A week Song Kran your engines started, the day is dark, rainy and ... stormy!

Next week marks the Thai New Year or the entry of the rainy season.
To get in situation let me explain a little of what is the issue ...

There are only two seasons:
- The dry season, which is hot (25 to 32 degrees)
- And the rainy season, in which it rains day in and day out and the heat makes it even more (32 to 42 or more).

Well, next week we have to celebrate the coming of the rainy season. It is the most popular celebration in Thailand and is dipping right and left with any widget: water guns, hoses, buckets or simply with a barrel full and splashing with your hands ... The plot thickens when, once you have wet, coated in batter with flour you!
If you go out you know you're coming home wet!
Here are some photos from last year, of course, made from the car :)

Now, that said, a few days off to relax or, as they say here, "sabai sabai" (roughly, that the Thai do not give me very well :)).

Hasta la próxima semana... Nos vemos!!!
Until next week ... See you!

Saludos, Mayte.
I hope you enjoy and inspire you.
Greetings, Mayte.

"A SCAFFOLD" made from bamboo.

As many have surely thought that the photo is "doctored", here are proof that it is not ...
I did these photos when they were painting the facade of my house ...
Of course it is in Spain with the law of "risk prevention" would certainly have more than one in jail hahaha...
